5 Motivational Quotes!

coach self-care support Feb 25, 2022

Below are five of my favorite motivational quotes! Below each graphic I also share some insights as to my perspective...hope they help motivate and inspire you too!

I'm okay, right here. I've become more aware of when I get upset or frustrated. And instead, pause to reflect on my own journey. I've learned a lot along the way. I've always made progress, even if it's just a tiny bit! So I work to remind myself to stop making comparisons and instead, celebrate the moment where I am right now! Even this moment represents a milestone!

I never bet against myself. Not anymore. I used to. I used to start something and then hear a voice inside my head tell me, "You're not going to make it. It won't work for you." But then I realized, I don't need to believe it. That voice is the auto-pilot part of my brain that seeks comfort and wants to avoid pain and discomfort.

LISTEN: You can be determined and make a choice not to quit, not to give-up, no matter what. You might hit a rough patch, or a detour that might slow you down, but you'll get there eventually. That's what I tell myself. I know I can get there in my own time, at my own pace.

It might take ma longer, I might be the last to finish, but what I know for sure: I won't give up. Bet on yourself! You can do it!

Focus on what you can change and take action. This means adjusting and accepting that even though you want something to be different, it's not what's happening now. Accept reality. Live in this moment and know that what's happening now can only improve if you take action based on the current conditions. It's usually not as big of an adjustment as you might think, but that action, makes a HUGE difference in helping you to move ahead!

Motivation is like ambition, it will get you started, but it's not enough to get you to your goal.

Success doesn't happen overnight. It's easy to think that it does, in this fast-paced world, it's easier to see the final result and not appreciate the hard work it took, over-time, that accumulated slowly to add-up eventually to the desired outcome.

Winning requires work, patience, persistence & willingness to wait, as you earn the triumph.

Fear and excitement can sometimes feel the same. So anytime I start something new I try to remind myself that I’m feeling excited!
